At YotoLabels.com, we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our Yoto card label generator.

Your Images Are Private

We never see your uploaded images. All image processing happens entirely in your browser on your device. Your photos never leave your computer or phone, and we have no access to them whatsoever.

When you upload an image, it stays on your device. The label generation, cropping, and PDF creation all happen locally in your browser using JavaScript. Your family photos, drawings, and personal images remain completely private.

Optional Yoto import is described below.

Yoto Account Connection (Optional)

You can sign in with Yoto to import cover images from cards in your library. The label maker works without a Yoto account.

We request these read-only scopes:

• •family:library:view: list family library cards and cover image URLs
• •user:content:view: list MYO cards and cover image URLs

We do not request device control, content editing, or refresh tokens. Yoto sign-in may confirm your account through OAuth. We do not use or store your name, email, or profile.

Selected cover images are fetched through our server because Yoto image URLs cannot load directly in the browser. We do not store your library, card list, or cover images on our servers. Your access token stays in session storage for the current tab until you disconnect or close the tab.

You can disconnect in the editor at any time. YotoLabels is not affiliated with Yoto Ltd.

Analytics and Cookies

We use anonymous analytics cookies to understand how visitors use our website. This helps us improve the tool and make it more useful for everyone. Analytics are enabled by default, but you can opt-out at any time.

We use PostHog for analytics, which collects:

• •Pages you visit
• •Time spent on pages
• •Features you use (templates selected, export options, etc.)
• •General location (country level only)
• •Device type and browser

This data is anonymized and cannot be used to identify you personally.

Want to opt-out? You can disable analytics at any time using the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer. Your preference will be saved for 6 months.

Data We Collect

We only collect:

• •Analytics data (with your consent) - anonymous usage statistics
• •Necessary cookies - to remember your cookie preferences
• •Yoto access token (optional): stored in session storage for the current tab

We do NOT collect:

• •Your images or photos
• •Your name or email (we do not store Yoto profile data)
• •Payment information (our service is free)
• •Location data beyond country level

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• •Cloudflare - for hosting our website
• •PostHog - for analytics (with your consent)
• •Cloudinary - for storing and delivering template images and other assets shown on the site
• •Loops - for sending transactional and newsletter emails when you sign up or get in touch
• •Yoto - optional sign-in to import cover images from your library

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• •Refuse or withdraw consent for analytics cookies at any time
• •Request information about any data we might have
• •Request deletion of your data (analytics identifiers)
• •Disconnect your Yoto account in the editor

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
